The plastic components are screwed or plugged together for assembly, guaranteeing a pleasant model-building experience – without any gluing. The crankshaft, pistons, and valves move in close interaction with each other, true to the original. The transparent housing parts allow the mechanics of the boxer engine to be seen and understood from the outside. Even the ignition sparks in the cylinders are simulated with LEDs.

The kit
